Chris Guscott to host The Sideline View on 5MU Murray Bridge

5MU has announced the host of the nationally branded, locally focused weekend sports brand, ‘The Sideline View’. Chris Guscott will be behind the mic on Saturday afternoons from 13 February, covering all the latest local community sport news, local games, score updates and stories from all levels of local community sports clubs.

Chris Guscott is a sports nut; name a sport and he’s played or watched it.

The Adelaide local got his start covering gridiron locally and internationally, and is passionate about furthering local sport any way he can.

5MU Content Director, Adam Connelly, said Chris is a great fit for the 5MU team and for local listeners alike.

“Regional South Australia lives and breathes their local sport. Chris combines his journalist’s eye and his love of all sport to tell the stories that make local sport great,” Adam said.

Chris said he is looking forward to sharing his passions with like-minded listeners.

“I’m thrilled to join the Grant Broadcasters team, and consider ‘The Sideline View’ to be a dream come true,” Chris said.

Alison Cameron, CEO of Grant Broadcasters, said the locally produced and hosted afternoon sports show will be presented by unique local presenters in 24 of the network’s markets this year, which will also include regular updates of the major National sports codes.

“Local sport is vital to regional communities and we are committed to providing a conduit for that connection,” Alison said.

Tune in on Saturdays to Chris on The Sideline View from 1pm or listen online at www.5mu.com.au.
