John Laws has announced on his networked 2SM program this morning that he is retiring. After 70 years in radio, his final program will be Friday November 8. 

On October 1, Nigel Slater joined SUN FM Alice Springs as an announcer/all rounder. Nigel is certainly an all rounder and has worked in radio for over 30 years.

In the latest GfK Canberra radio survey (3/2024), MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with 22.2% (+4.3).  They were followed by HIT 104.7 with 13.2% (-0.7), then ABC Canberra with 11% (-1.2). 2CA had a share of 6.5% (+1.0) with sister station 2CC on 5.2% (+1.6).
