Damien Lee returns to commercial radio as Breakfast Host on 4WK Toowoomba.

The Super Radio Network has announced Damien Lee as the new Breakfast Host on 4WK, broadcasting weekdays from 6am throughout Toowoomba, Warwick, Dalby, Stanthorpe and surrounds.

Lee has been involved in Commercial Radio and Television for more than 30 years, having worked for the 7 Network and ABC TV, as well as a field reporter for ABC Brisbane Radio and as a panel operator and announcer on 4BC. More recently he has been involved in setting up Ipswich’s first online digital radio station, West Bremer Radio, and tutored Radio at the University of Southern Queensland.

“I am very excited to take on this role with the Super Radio Network and 4WK” Mr Lee said. “The one thing I love, and look forward to continuing, is the focus on localism and coverage of local events, news and issues for the listeners in the Darling & Southern Downs as well as the Lockyer Valley regions” he said.

General Manager Queensland Broadcast Operations Group for the Super Radio Network, Paul Batchelor, said “It is a pleasure to have a consummate professional at the helm of the Breakfast Show, as Damien is a man who entertains, and also keeps listeners up to date with all the local issues.”

Damien has commenced his new program and can be heard on 4WK each weekday morning from 6am to 9am through 963AM Stereo Darling Downs, 95.5FM Toowoomba and surrounds, 96.9FM Dalby and 91.5FM Stanthorpe.
