Mix 106.3 was the top rating station in the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2022. They had a share of 20.6% (+3.5). Next came Hit 104.7 with 17.6 % (+2.8) then ABC Canberra with 12.3% (-0.3). Vale John Summerton
John Summerton has died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the first General Manager at 2 Double 0 in Wollongong (now i98FM), and of Power FM /2ST Nowra for 23 years before his retirement in 2013. Summerton spent nearly 50 years in radio including on air roles at 2WL Wollongong and programming and on air roles at 2CH in Sydney.
