The top rating stations in the GfK metro radio ratings in Survey 2 were: Melbourne and Sydney talk stations: 3AW with 15.1% (-0.8) and 2GB – 14.3% (+0.5). In Adelaide it was a tie with Mix 102.3 and Nova 91.9 both with a share of 11.8%. In Perth it was a very close result with Nova 93.7 on 13.9% just ahead of 96FM with 13.8%. Southern Cross Austereo cancels three regional breakfast shows
SCA has axed threes shows on the Triple M and Hit Network, as part of a cost cutting exercise that will see between 250 and 300 job losses within the company. (Source: Mumbrella). Among the breakfast show casualties were the Hit Network’s Bronte and Lakey breakfast show, anchored by Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey (pictured). The show recorded from Sea FM’s Gold Coast studio, and was simulcast across regional Queensland.
