In what could be a survey first, three Brisbane stations rated at No 1 (* people 10+). They were 4KQ, 97.3FM (both ARN stations) and Nova 106.9 all with a share of 10.2%. In our 30 years of publishing this has never occurred with three stations as co-winners! The other top rating metro stations in the GfK Survey 5 were: 2GB in Sydney (15.2%), 3AW in Melbourne (15.1%), Mix 102.3 in Adelaide (13.9%) and Mix 94.5 in Perth (13.4%). Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.
In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.
