KIX COUNTRY RADIO nominated for International Award

Justin Thomson, Content Director of the KIX Country Radio Network, has been nominated for the ‘’International Country Broadcaster’’ Award, as part of this year’s prestigious CMA 2021 International Awards. The Country Music Association is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

The CMA International award recognizes outstanding achievement by a Radio Broadcaster outside the United States who has made significant contributions to the development of Country Music in his/ her country. Judging is hosted by CMA International Members with the winner being announced later in the year.

David Greenwood, General Manager KIX Country Radio Network, said ‘We are very proud of Justin being nominated and it’s recognition of his tireless efforts and dedication to his craft. Justin’s contribution to our KIX Country brand couldn’t be recognized in a more fitting manner than this.’

The KIX Country Radio Network broadcasts in 21 markets across all of Australia’s state and Territories as well as through the KIX Country app.

ATN Traffic Content Returns to Tapt Media Stations

Tapt Media has partnered with the Australian Traffic Network (atn) in a strategic deal that will enhance its traffic operations and create new sponsorship opportunities across its radio and digital audio network. Effective 1 October 2026,  atn’s traffic content will return across 2GB Sydney, 3AW Melbourne, 4BC Brisbane and 6PR Perth, allowing the network to expand its live traffic updates into drive-time slots and expanded weekend hours across both broadcast and digital streaming.
