As expected, Lauren Phillips has been announced as the new co-host of the KIIS FM breakfast show in Melbourne alongside Jase Hawkins. The Channel 9 Weekend Today weather presenter will join Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins as co-host from August 9. Phillips replaces Polly ‘PJ’ Harding who is returning to New Zealand where her fiance lives.

In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.
