Louise Montafia new General Manager for Star 102.7/4CA Cairns

Grant Broadcasters has appointed Louise Montafia as the new General Manager for their two Cairns Radio stations. Louise boasts a wealth of professional experience and business acumen in the areas of General Management, Marketing and PR, mostly recently as the Marketing Manager for Lendlease and prior to that at News Corp in Cairns.

Louise said “I am extremely excited to become part of the Grant Broadcasters family and lead the number 1 station in Cairns Star 102.7 and the always evergreen 4CA. I can’t wait to join the team and continue to deliver great creative content for our listeners and drive commercial success for our clients. When speaking with Matt Chapman, the drive and passion around our local community was such a strong focus for him and the management team, I knew this was the job for me”.

Grant Broadcasters State Manager for Qld/NT, Matt Chapman, added “We are thrilled to have Louise join the QLD/NT family. Every time I visit Cairns, I only hear positive things about Louise throughout the local business community. Can’t wait for Louise to start her radio career with us in a few weeks”.

Louise has been part of the local community in Cairns for a number years and is replacing Paul Woodhouse who has taken up the GM role for Grant Broadcasters’ Townsville stations. Louise will join the Radio group from the middle of August.
