The radio husband and wife team of Luke and Susie have announced in song that their national radio show is ending at Easter. After 8 years and 2,478 episodes they say it’s ’time for a change.’ Their syndicated radio program is heard on many Christian radio stations throughout Australia.
Luke and Susie Holt have been married since 2003. They always had hopes of working together and for 8 years they have been presenting a national show as well as a podcast.
Sydney community radio station 2SER has told volunteers it could close by July this year after Macquarie University said it would end its funding of the station last year. In an email to station volunteers seen by 702 ABC Sydney, 2SER station manager Cheryl Northey said the station understood UTS could not fund the station on its own.
Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.
In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.
