Matt Baseley will join Gina Jeffreys at Star 104.5 on the new breakfast team ‘Gina and Matty’ in 2024. Baseley, who began his radio career with Nova in 2003, most recently co-hosted the Maz & Matty Breakfast Show on the Hit NSW Regional Network.
Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.
In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.
