Monique Dews departs ARN after 11 years

Monique Dews is leaving ARN and KIIS 97.3 after eleven years to take up a position with media training and crisis management company Adoni Media. Her new role will be as Director of Accounts and Strategy.

Monique says, “I feel a mixed bag of excitement and sadness about leaving ARN and especially the Robin, Terry and Kip Breakfast Show. It was an absolute privilege to set the daily agenda with my brilliant radio family.”

Her last day with the team will be Friday April 21st.

ARN Chief Content Officer, Duncan Campbell, says, “I was genuinely saddened by the news that she had resigned and of course wish her nothing but the best as a new chapter begins away from radio.”

“I’ve known Monique for many years and she has one of the best newsreading voices and styles in the business.”

“She is simply a lovely, genuine person who has given 100% for each of her 11 years at ARN.”

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
