New Communications Director Role with Sound Story for Nova’s Jane Elliott

Jane Elliott, the National Publicity Director for Nova Entertainment, is leaving the network after 15 years to head up Communications at Sound Story.

Sound Story is the recently launched communications agency co-founded by Jake Challenor and Jaddan Comerford. They had already announced hiring Zanda Wilson from The Music Network, Radio Today and Mumbrella, as a senior communications specialist.

Elliott has managed the publicity and media strategy for Nova’s live music arm Nova’s Red Room, launched flagship radio shows across the Nova and smooth networks, and executed campaigns and stakeholder management for the broadcaster’s podcast and radio streaming services.

At Sound Story the new role will see her work across the agency’s growing portfolio of media and entertainment industry clients, overseeing strategy, corporate, crisis and internal communications, consumer and trade publicity, and executive and talent profile building.

Elliott joins Sound Story on June 13
