You can now listen to 2HD in Lake Macquarie on 90.5FM. 2HD has invested heavily in a new transmission facility at Belmont North to fill blackspots of their main 1143AM frequency. The frequencies are: 1143AM – Newcastle & Hunter Valley, 97.5FM – Port Stephens and 90.5FM – Lake Macquarie. 2HD has a FM translator based at Port Stephens 97.5FM, 1143am at Sandgate AND NOW 90.5FM based at Belmont.

Hi Great people at 2HD
I’m an avid all-night listener & part the day too, located in Port Stephens, right on the coast. Tues 24.3.26 around 4pm “your station at 97.5 FM went off air…white noice & radio silence”. It’s not my radio bc I checked other broadcasters & also reprogrammed my radio to 97.5. I can’t ever get 90.5 either. So, I’m wondering, is there a problem with the relay/broadcasting/? I’ve listened via net but that’s not as convenient for me. I love your talk back & content so much which gets me through the night. Help, Thoughts & suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
