Rickie-Lee replaces Kate Ritchie

9 March 2023

Ricki-Lee will officially replace Kate Ritchie on Nova’s national Drive show. She joins Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey for the show, to be called Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel.

Ricki-Lee says, “I love Tim and Joel like the brothers I never had but always wanted, and I have been having so much fun in the studio with them – they are the best in the business! I have so much love for Kate and I’m so happy I’ve been able to help out on the Drive show over the last year. I am pumped to be officially joining the Nova family!”

Tim & Joel say, “Is there anything this girl can’t do? We’re so stoked that Ricki can fit us in around her current schedule of ‘world domination’. Music, TV and now radio with us. Her energy gets us all up and about each and every day…fingers crossed we can both keep up!”

NOVA Entertainment CEO, Peter Charlton, says, “We are delighted to formally welcome Ricki-Lee to the Drive team. She’s a great talent and has endeared herself to listeners during her time on Drive.

“The chemistry between the three of them and the fun they have in the studio is plain to hear and we have no doubt the next incarnation of Australia’s number one drive show will continue to delight listeners around the country.”

Kate Ritchie says, “I’ve had an incredible eight years as part of Nova’s Drive team, and I wish Ricki-Lee all the luck in the world. I’m thrilled to be taking on an exciting new challenge and I can’t wait to share what I’m doing next.”

Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel can be heard weekdays from 4pm to 6pm on the Nova Network or via the Nova Player.
