SCA Announces New Head Of Content – Regional

SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, has announced the appointment of Blair Woodcock to Head of Content – Regional, as part of the Content leadership team. In the new role, Woodcock will lead SCA’s regional content initiatives, including its 79 regional Hit and Triple M stations around the country.

Woodcock has worked in radio for almost 20 years and joined SCA in 2008 as a breakfast announcer in Gladstone. He then became a content director for regional Queensland, and has been Assistant Content Director for Triple M Brisbane since 2020 as well as Group Content Director Southern Queensland for Triple M.

“Blair has been a superstar at SCA since joining the organisation in 2008. He lives and breathes regional content and the passion he has for our regional business is unparalleled. I am confident that this appointment will help bring our mantra of Proudly National, Fiercely Local to life right across our regional footprint,” Cameron said.

Commenting on his new role, Woodcock said: “It’s truly exciting to get to work with a great bunch of people who love making content that connects to their local markets each and every day. Also, having worked in those markets, and alongside them in the past, it is a great honour to be leading our regional content teams. I can’t wait to dive right into this role.”

Woodcock will report to Cameron and his role is effective from 10 May.
