Self confessed sports tragic Kevin Hillier is to host a new sports show The Sideline View on Geelong’s bay 93.9. It will air live on Saturdays from 1pm.

How many sporting metaphors can we fit into one media release? 

Game on! 

Strap on your boots sports fans, From Saturday February 20th, Geelong’s bay 93.9 will bowl you over with a brand new dedicated local sports show. 

The Sideline View is a live and local sports show providing Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast with updates, interviews, and coverage of a huge crosssection of local sport. 

Teeing up to host the program every Saturday from 1pm will be well known radioman and self confessed sports tragic Kevin Hillier – “I love my sport, love my music,so the Sideline View is my hamburger with the lot.” Hillier said. 

Get the inside running with regular score updates, trivia, special features, terrificmusic and interviews. Kevin said “I want to talk to people from all levels of sport. I especially want to talk to the locals at the coalface, so get involved and let meknow about your sporting club at [email protected].” 

bay 93.9 General Manager, Andy Mathers said it was impossible to underestimate the importance of sport to our region. “It just made sense to create a regular Saturday afternoon show combining everything that’s great about local sport, score updates and music; something for everyone.”  Mr Mathers said. 

Catch The Sideline View, live each and every Saturday from 1pm. First bounce February 20th on Geelong’s bay 93.9.
