In the latest Xtra Insights Mackay survey – the most listened to station was Star 101.9 with a share of 20%. Next came Triple M Mackay and Whitsundays with 19.5%. They were followed by Hit Mackay and Whitsundays with 17.9% then ABC Topical North with 13.9%. Click on image below for full details.
SCA has axed threes shows on the Triple M and Hit Network, as part of a cost cutting exercise that will see between 250 and 300 job losses within the company. (Source: Mumbrella). Among the breakfast show casualties were the Hit Network’s Bronte and Lakey breakfast show, anchored by Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey (pictured). The show recorded from Sea FM’s Gold Coast studio, and was simulcast across regional Queensland.
