103.1 Power FM Ballarat was the most listened to station in the Xtra Insights Ballarat survey with 27.3 % (-0.8). Next came 3BA 102.3 FM with 21.3 (+0.1). Triple J came next with 9.3% then ABC Ballarat 6.7%.

End of an era: New ARN role for Rob McLennan

After more than three decades as News Director of K rock and Bay 93.9 FM, Rob McLennan is taking up a new post at ARN, overseeing its newsrooms in regional Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. He was a part of the K Rock/Bay family for 36 years in total. His final day is Thursday March 28.

ARN Announces Daytime Changes

ARN has announced changes to its daytime programming that will roll out across Australia’s Eastern seaboard in April. The shift will see  KIIS FM presenter Gordie Waters – well known for his role as host of KIIS 1065 Sydney weekdays – taking the reins as Workday announcer at KIIS 101.1 101.1 in Melbourne starting April 5, followed by KIIS 97.3 in Brisbane from April 8.
