In the first survey for Newcastle, Triple M was clearly the No 1 station with a share of 23.3% (+3.0). Next came Hit 106.9 with 13.3% (-2.1) and then 105.3 FM with 11% (-0.4). Triple M was No 1 in all sessions increasing their share in morning by 5.5% and 5.6% in afternoon.
Alex ‘Strawny’ Strachan has wrapped up his final shift, as he departs his role on Triple M Mid North Coast Breakfast to take care of his mental health. Strawny took over Breakfast from his dad Mark Strachan OAM at the beginning of this year.
Aiden Grant will join Geelong’s 96three as Assistant Content Director and Drive show host. He moves from Christian station 1079 Life FM Adelaide, where he has lived for the past 10 years. He has also worked for SAFM and Nova in Adelaide as well as K-Rock in Geelong.
