Talk stations 3AW and 2GB continued their reign at No 1 in the latest GfK Radio Survey (3/2022). 3AW had a share of 14.7% (-0.4) and 2GB 13% (-1.3). The Nova brand rated No 1 in Brisbane and Perth. Nova 106.9 Brisbane had a share of 11.2% (+0.6) and Nova 93.7 Perth with 13.5% (-0.4). In Adelaide, the ABC rated No 1 with 12% (+1.2). Click on images below for full details.
Kiis FM could face cancellation of its radio station licence if ban breached, regulator says. The Guardian reports: Any Kiis FM radio program hosted by Kyle Sandilands and or Jackie “O” Henderson must not air strong sexual content for the next five years or ARN Media could face penalties as serious as the cancellation of the radio station’s licence.

The SEN network, killing off great radio stations yet again. Hope they enjoy the 1% audience figures they can expect. Thoughts are with all 4KQ crew. Sadly 4BH who is chasing KQ’s audience now, will be 95% voicetracked or networked as that is what ACE Radio seem be doing everywhere else – no a lot of scope of local talent, only sales reps.
