Rod Back On Radio

Rod Stephen has returned to radio reading breakfast local news for BREEZE FM and REBEL FM
as well as being the breakfast editor of the news website My News Feed. In recent times he’s been working at the Ethnic Community Council of Queensland. Best known for his career as a news reader, his last radio role was at 4BC in 2014 producing the Walter Williams evening program.

4BC has axed breakfast hosts Sofie Formica and Dean Miller after just six months on air, They rated only 3.2% in the latest GfK survey making 4BC the eighth rating station in the breakfast ratings.

Xtra Insights Maryborough Survey 1/2026

Triple M Fraser Coast 103.5 was the most listened to station in Maryborough Queensland in the latest Xtra Insights Survey (#1/2026) with 27.5% (+5.7). They were followed by Hit 101.9 Fraser Coast with 26.6% (-2.8). Next came ABC Wide Bay with 13.0% (+0.8).

Vic Lorusso, atn Chief Executive Officer and gtn Global CEO, is set to debut on a new on-air home at 2DayFM and Triple M Sydney starting Monday, 22 July. The move marks a poetic milestone with his start coinciding with Vic’s 26th anniversary in the media industry.
