Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller celebrate 18 years on radio together

Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller celebrated 18 years on the air together on March 9. The breakfast duo, who host WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda, marked the milestone with a lavish ‘birthday party’ at Urban winery in EQ Moore Park with over 150 people.

Richard Clapton and Sister2Sister performed live at the happy event as the radio powerhouses reflected on their time together.

In our time together, we have collectively had three bike accidents, a vasectomy and two hips replaced,’ they said.

‘Beloved pets have come and gone, and children have grown. We have shared our lives, and our listeners have shared theirs back.’

ARN Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell said the pair are ‘stronger than ever’ and ‘one of the greatest heritage breakfast shows in Australian radio history’.

‘They are two of the nicest people to work with and have been able to constantly evolve over the years and continue to remain relevant to their audience,’ he said.

Congratulations to Jonesy & Amanda and their production team on achieving this incredible milestone.’

Jonesy, 54, and Amanda, 61, are one of the country’s most successful radio shows, having claimed the #1FM Breakfast crown multiple times.

They have also taken home the coveted industry award at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) for Best On-Air Team three times.

The iconic pair have accomplished incredible feats during their time in radio, including setting the Guinness World Records for the longest underwater broadcast and the biggest yum cha.

Late last year, the close friends signed a multi-year deal with ARN to continue with the network.
