The ACE Radio network which is family-owned by Rowly and Judy Paterson is poised toexpand its reach tonight at 7pm (Friday January 14th) with three of the country’s most iconic metro radio brands joining its stable of 18 radio stations in Victoria and NSW. The new stations, 2UE 954 in Sydney, Brisbane’s 4BH 1116 and Magic 1278 in Melbourne are set to join ACE Radio’s existing metro asset 3MP 1377 in Melbourne.
Steve Jacobs, former Today show weatherman, 55, confirmed his departure on Instagram, saying he was let go as a result of a management change. Stevie was hired in April 2020 to host breakfast across 2UE and sister stations 4BH, 6GT and Magic 1278.
